Adriano Venudo serves as an Associate Professor in Architectural and Urban Composition at the Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Trieste. He holds multiple institutional roles including Department Council Member, Course of Study Recommendations Member for Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Town Center Management programs, and Doctoral College Member for Civil-Environmental Engineering and Architecture.
His research focuses on architectural composition, urban planning, and landscape integration with emphasis on sustainable development. Key research areas include solar landscape design, historical site restoration, and urban mitigation strategies for renewable energy systems. Recent projects demonstrate strong industry collaboration with municipal governments and private foundations.
Professor Venudo leads significant research initiatives including the Re.So.L.AR project for solar landscape integration, the Gorizia Savings Bank Foundation collaboration, and the Blue Green Blue Project for environmental adaptation. His work bridges theoretical architectural composition with practical urban implementation, particularly in Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
He actively participates in doctoral education through the Civil-Environmental Engineering and Architecture doctoral programs (XXXVIII and XXXIX cycles), mentoring next-generation researchers in sustainable architectural practices.
