Adrian Loretan is a Professor of Canon Law and Church-State Law at the Faculty of Theology, University of Lucerne, where he has served since 1996. He is also Co-Director of the Center for Constitutional Law of Religion at the same institution. His academic work bridges theology, jurisprudence, and human rights, with a focus on religious freedom, church governance, and the ethical dimensions of ecclesiastical law.
