Adonis Ioannides

Adonis Ioannides is the Dean of the University of Nicosia Medical School and holds the academic rank of Professor. He earned his MBChB with honors from the University of Manchester Medical School and a PhD in Developmental Biology from University College London.

Research Interests:

• Developmental Biology: Focus on the genetic and developmental basis of congenital malformations.
• Medical Genetics: Investigating the etiology of tracheo-oesophageal anomalies.
• Organ Development: Studying tracheo-oesophageal development to understand associated malformations.
