Adelia Boyar serves as an instructor and Captain of the Maritime Instructor training vessel at Seattle Central College's Seattle Maritime Academy (Continuing Education). With professional experience spanning from Panama to Alaska, she specializes in hands-on instruction for maritime safety, sailing, and navigation on local waterways including the Columbia River.
Her teaching focuses on:

- Crew training for safety drills
