Dr. Adele Turzillo is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Animal and Avian Sciences at the University of Maryland. She has held leadership roles in academia and federal agencies, including serving as Professor and Head of Animal Science at Penn State University (2020-2024) and Director of the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Division of Animal Systems (2013-2019). Her expertise spans reproductive biology, endocrinology, and academic administration.
