Adela Fuste Escolano

Adela Fuste Escolano is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychobiology, University of Barcelona. She has served as Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Psychology (2005-2013) and coordinates the Master's Program in General Health Psychology. Her research focuses on personality assessment, innovative clinical psychology education methods, and biopsychosocial profiles of fibromyalgia. She leads the VR-PSY Lab exploring virtual reality applications in clinical psychology.

Research interests integrate personality studies with emerging technologies like VR for psychological evaluation. Recent work includes development of assessment tools for orthorexia nervosa and hypnosis suggestibility scales. Her teaching spans clinical psychology, health psychology intervention methods, and therapeutic skills training at both undergraduate and master's levels. Current lab activities focus on VR applications for anorexia nervosa treatment and neuroendocrine-personality interactions.
