Adel W. Sadek

Adel W. Sadek is a Professor in the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering at the University at Buffalo. He serves as the Founding Director of the Stephen Still Institute for Sustainable Transportation and Logistics within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His research focuses on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Connected and Automated Vehicles, Big Data Analytics, AI/Machine Learning, and Traffic Operations.

He leads initiatives in advancing sustainable transportation through cutting-edge technologies, including autonomous vehicle control, traffic delay prediction, and energy-efficient vehicle systems.
