Prof. Adekunle Adeyeye is a full Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria (1990), followed by MPhil and Ph.D. degrees in Microelectronic Engineering and Semiconductor Physics from the University of Cambridge (UK) in 1993 and 1996, respectively.

Adekunle Adeyeye is a leading expert in nanomagnetism, with over 250 peer-reviewed publications, including book chapters, review articles, and invited topical reviews. His work bridges fundamental physics and applied engineering, focusing on magnetic materials for advanced technologies such as data storage, spintronics, and quantum devices. His research integrates semiconductor physics with nanoscale engineering to develop next-generation computational systems.
Adeyeye has held leadership roles in the IEEE Magnetics Society, including serving as Honors and Awards Committee Chair (2023–present), Life Membership Chair (2023–present), and IEEE Awards Subcommittee Chair (2022–present). He was previously involved in the Mid Career Award Subcommittee.
