Adebukola Adeyemi is an Associate Professor of Mathematics and Assistant Department Chair at Flagler College's School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She coordinates the Calculus I course and holds the title of Talmon Bell Chair, previously held at Sterling College. Her research focuses on statistical applications, particularly Bayesian and Hybrid inference for correlated binary outcomes, and exploring connections between mathematics and her abstract oil painting art. She teaches a broad range of courses including Statistics, Calculus, Probability Theory, and Advanced Calculus.
Education: Ph.D. in Mathematics (2011, Howard University), M.A. Mathematics (2004, Wake Forest University), B.S. Mathematics (2002, Salem College) with minors in Studio Arts and Computer Science.
Research interests bridge statistical methodologies and interdisciplinary art-mathematics relationships. She actively publishes in statistical applications and curates her artwork to reflect mathematical principles. Professional memberships include the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) and American Statistical Association (ASA).
Awards: Talmon Bell Chair (Sterling College). Engaged in community roles as Choir member/children program coordinator at RCCG Pavilion of Power and Research & Business Development Manager at KIB Foundation.
Teaching spans foundational to advanced mathematics courses for both majors and non-majors. Office hours: Tuesdays 9:30 AM-1:30 PM.
