Adam Ślesiński

Dr. Eng. Adam Ślesiński is a researcher at the Poznań University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical Technology, Institute of Technical Chemistry and Electrochemistry. He completed his doctoral studies (2013-2018), Master's degree (2012-2013) with specialization in Composites and Nanomaterials, and engineering studies (2008-2012) at the same faculty, including a year at the Technical University of Denmark.

His research focuses on electrochemical capacitors, energy storage systems, nanomaterials, and in-situ physicochemical measurements of electrochemical systems. Working as a scientific and technical specialist since 2013, he has published extensively on electrode materials, capacitor design, and electrochemical mechanisms. His recent work (2023-2025) has explored MXene-based charge storage, redox-active nanomaterials for high-energy aqueous capacitors, and electrosorption mechanisms in iontronic devices.

Dr. Ślesiński has participated in significant research projects including the European Research Council (ERC) GA 759603 on novel energy storage systems and the National Science Centre's M-ERA.NET project on nanostructured electrodes. He has also conducted international research at the Institut de Science des Matériaux de Mulhouse in France.
