Adam Zdunikowski is a Professor and current Head of the Vocal Studies Department at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (2024-28 term), maintaining an active dual career as an opera soloist at Warsaw's Grand Theatre, Krakow Opera, and National Theatre in Prague since the 1990s.
He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music under Professor Roman Węgrzyn after beginning his musical journey at age 7 with Warsaw's "LUTNIA" boys' choir.
His artistic focus centers on vocal performance across opera, oratorio, and cantata genres, with approximately 50 operatic roles and 50 oratorio/cantata titles to his credit. Career highlights include performing under conductors Lorin Maazel and Krzysztof Penderecki, plus international engagements from Japan to Russia.

Professor Zdunikowski has collaborated with major institutions including Warsaw Chamber Opera (1990-1998), Hamburg State Opera (1996), and National Opera in Sofia (since 2000), performing repertoire spanning from Monteverdi to contemporary premieres like Krauze's "Ivona" in Paris. His extensive touring includes performances at Teatro Real Madrid, Bolshoi Theatre Moscow, and Beijing's European Music Festival.
