Adam Zawadowski is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Central European University since 2015. He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. His academic journey includes an MSc in Engineering-Physics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, an MA in Economics from CEU, and a PhD in Economics from Princeton University. He served as Head of the Department of Economics at CEU from 2020 to 2023. His research focuses on financial frictions, attention allocation, liquidity dynamics, credit default swaps, and systemic risk in financial networks.
