Adam Walker is a research-led artist and writer affiliated with the School of Communication at the Royal College of Art. Their practice critically examines structures of inequality and explores speculative ways of being through textual and digital interventions that challenge dominant flows.
Walker's research interests include:
- Contemporary Art Practice
- Digital Art and Text as Code
- Structures of Inequality
- Radical Care frameworks
- Technocultures of late capitalism
Their major research project, "Textual Actants: Infrastructures of Contemporary Art Practice," functions both as art-writing practice and as research about art practice, creating a reflexive interplay that opens new understandings of practice-research methodology within contemporary art.
Walker has secured significant research funding including:

Walker's artistic work has been exhibited internationally at venues including the ICA, Tate, Serpentine Gallery, Ma Bibliothèque, and institutions in Ukraine and Turkey.
