Adam Seth Levine is the SNF Agora Institute Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University. His research focuses on collaborative relationships in democratic governance, emphasizing how diverse stakeholders overcome barriers to collective problem-solving. He is a co-founder of research4impact, fostering partnerships between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. Levine has authored influential works including Collaborate Now! (2024), which won the APSA Best Book Award in 2016 for its earlier work American Insecurity. His teaching spans undergraduate and graduate courses on science, democracy, and public health policy.
Levine’s research integrates experimental methods with field studies, addressing topics like pandemic response, climate action, and social safety net policies.
