معرفی
Adam Kiersnowski is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physical and Quantum Chemistry, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where he leads the Molecular and Macromolecular Electronic Materials (MMEM) group. His research focuses on physicochemical and materials science aspects of heterogeneous organic films and coatings, particularly polymer-based semiconductors and piezoelectrics. He investigates structural changes in films under mechanical deformation using advanced X-ray techniques, including synchrotron-based analyses.
Professional roles include prior positions as a Research Associate at the Leibniz Institute for Polymer Research (IPF), Dresden, and EU-funded researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Mainz. He holds a D.Sc. (habilitation) in materials sciences from the Warsaw University of Technology and a Ph.D. from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
Research interests span organic electronics, nanocomposite materials, and structure-property relationships in polymers. Key techniques include small-angle and wide-angle X-ray scattering, thermal analysis, and microscopy. His work addresses applications in electronic devices, energy storage, and biomaterials.
