Adam Brent is an Associate Professor of Fine Arts at the Parsons School of Design, part of The New School. He currently serves as the Fine Arts Minor Coordinator and co-chair of the Parsons Faculty Council. Previously, he was Vice Provost for Curriculum and Learning at The New School.
His work focuses on installation, performance, and sculpture, with exhibitions at institutions like The Bronx Museum for Contemporary Art, The New Museum, and the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale. He has participated in residencies such as DNA Provincetown MA and is a founding member of the BroLab Collective.
Brent has received grants from the Greater New York Arts Development Fund, New York Foundation for Contemporary Art, and others. His work has been featured in Village Voice, Art Critical, The New York Times, and more. He teaches courses like Integrated Design Studio 5/6 and Digital Modeling, emphasizing 3D design and digital techniques.
He is affiliated with the Parsons Faculty Council and maintains an active public engagement through exhibitions and collaborative projects.
