Lipman Ada is a Lecturer at Paris, INALCO, focusing on Indian, South Asian and Tibetan Studies. She teaches Hindi Cinema, Indian Cinema, South Asian Cinema, and Indian Comics.

Research: Her thesis project "Emperor Akbar, a character in literary and audiovisual fiction in India and the Indian diaspora, from independence to the present day" examines representations of Mughal emperor Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar in Indian and diaspora creative works, analyzing contemporary Indo-Islamic heritage narratives.
