Myron Achiimastos is a Professor of Sociology at the Department of Sociology, School of Social Sciences, University of Crete. With a distinguished career in sociological theory and political ideology analysis, his work focuses on Durkheimian sociology, Greek communist movements, and ideology-culture dynamics. Appointed in 1998, he has held progressive academic positions from Lecturer to full Professor.
