Dr. Abrar Ahmad Chughtai is a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales within the School of Population Health. With over 22 years of experience in public health and infectious diseases, he has worked with organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) and currently leads the Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence (MIDI) Program.
- Research Focus: Epidemiology, control of infectious diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, and PPE effectiveness in healthcare settings.
- Teaching: Convenes courses on "Outbreak investigation and intelligence" (PHCM9788) and "Communicable diseases" (PHCM2004).
- Leadership: Deputy Director of Teaching at the School of Population Health.
