Abraham Singer is an Associate Professor of Management at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago. His work bridges business ethics and political theory, critically examining the socio-political underpinnings of economic institutions. He has held roles including Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Rochester and Visiting Assistant Professor at Georgetown University.
Education: PhD in Political Science (University of Toronto), MA in Political Science (University of Illinois-Chicago), BA in Political Science and English (University of Toronto).
Research focuses on the political nature of firms, democratic theory, racial justice, and labor rights. Notable publications include The Form of the Firm (Oxford UP) and Everyone's Business (Chicago UP, forthcoming). Awards include the Political Research Quarterly Best Article Award (2018).
Teaches courses such as Ethics in Business and Business Ethics at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
