Dr. Abisope Akintola is a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester's IMP Innovation, Strategy and Sustainability unit. She holds a PhD in Public Health from Teesside University, an MSc in Public Health from Teesside University, an MSc in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Ibadan, and a BSc in Biological Science from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta.
Her research interests include:
- Public health interventions for domestic abuse and maternal mortality
- Embedded and translational research methodologies
- Co-production of health knowledge
- Evidence-based practice implementation
