Abigail C. Lindo is an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University, affiliated with the Departments of Comparative Studies and African American and African Studies. A Jamaican-born interdisciplinary scholar, her research focuses on sound, globalization, and intersectionality in African diasporic, Lusophone, and Caribbean music cultures. Her first book project examines Lusophone identity politics and gender performances in Azorean sonic practices, emphasizing ecofeminist and postcolonial frameworks.
