Abida Hasan

Abida Hasan, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine, with clinical practice at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women in Houston, Texas. She is certified by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine (SMFM), American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), and Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology.

Dr. Hasan has made significant contributions to global health, particularly through her role as a Maternal Fetal Medicine consultant during the COVID-19 response in Malawi. She also leads the ACGME-approved Global Women’s Health Residency Track at Baylor, training future OB/GYN physicians in global health equity and practice.
