Dr. Abdulrahman Salih is an Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security at Northumbria University's London campus. With over 22 years of combined industrial and academic experience, he directs postgraduate programs in AI Technology, Cyber Security Technology, and Tech for Sustainable Cities.
Research expertise spans:
- AI applications in cybersecurity
- Secure software development
- Network vulnerability analysis
- Machine learning for threat detection
- Cybersecurity curriculum development
Dr. Salih chairs the Cyber Security Research Group (CSRG) at Northumbria University, fostering collaborations with UK and international institutions. His PhD research from Nottingham Trent University produced four novel contributions to cybersecurity methodologies. He maintains active involvement in academic quality assurance processes through roles as External Examiner and Programme Director.
