Abdullah Uz Tansel is a Professor at the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics in the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, CUNY. He also serves as a Professor of Computer Science at The Graduate Center of CUNY. His academic journey includes degrees from Middle East Technical University (BS, MS, PhD in Computer Engineering) and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
- Research Focus: Temporal databases, Semantic Web, Blockchain databases, and WEB3.0. He pioneered the first book on temporal databases and holds a patent on temporal RDF extensions.
