Prof. Dr. Abdullah KARATAY is a distinguished academic and practitioner in social work, currently serving as a Professor at the Department of Social Work, School of Social Services, Üsküdar University. With a career spanning both civil service and academia, he earned his BSW from Hacettepe University (1986), MA in Sociology from Middle East Technical University (1992), and PhD in Public Administration, Politics, and Social Sciences from Marmara University (2007). He received his associate professorship in 2013 and professorship at Üsküdar University in 2018.
