Abdul Wahab

Abdul Wahab is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the College of Science, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He has held previous academic roles, including Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Education, Pakistan, and affiliations with institutions like KAIST (South Korea), École Polytechnique Paris (France), and University Paris VII. His research focuses on Applied Mathematics, Inverse Problems, and Mathematical Imaging, with recent interests in machine learning and signal processing for biomedical imaging.

Education highlights include a Ph.D. under Prof. Habib Ammari, a postdoc at LPMA (University Paris VII) with Prof. Josselin Garnier, and a Korea Research Fellowship under Prof. Jong Chul Ye. He has authored a monograph on Mathematical Methods in Elasticity Imaging (2015).
