Abby Beatty

Dr. Abby Beatty is an Assistant Professor of Biology at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Her research explores molecular and endocrine mechanisms regulating life-history traits across vertebrates, with parallel investigations into biology education pedagogy.

Research areas include:

• Endocrine regulation of reptilian behavior and physiology
• Impact of protein supplementation on lizard muscle development
• Chytrid fungus dynamics in amphibian populations
