Aashish Yadavally is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida, leading the Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Research Lab (SAIL@UCF). His work bridges artificial intelligence and software engineering, focusing on optimizing development processes and enhancing software security.

His research explores the integration of AI in software engineering workflows, particularly in static analysis, dynamic reasoning, and vulnerability detection. Selected awards include the ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award (FSE 2024) and IEEE TCSE Distinguished Paper Award (SANER 2022). He has also received recognition for service, including the Distinguished Junior PC Reviewer Award at MSR 2024.
The SAIL@UCF lab drives his vision to establish scalable, AI-assisted development workflows for secure and reliable software systems.
