Dr. Aarti Bhatia is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Medical Oncology) at Yale School of Medicine and Clinical Research Team Leader for the Head and Neck Cancers Program. She specializes in treating head and neck cancers, focusing on novel therapies and clinical trials. She earned her MD from TN Medical College (2007), completed residency at Johns Hopkins (2012), and a fellowship at Temple University (2015). Her research emphasizes immunotherapy advancements and targeted treatments for HPV-driven cancers. Dr. Bhatia leads multiple clinical trials, including trials evaluating HER3-DXd in metastatic cancers and combinations of immunotherapy with radiation. She collaborates with institutions globally and is actively involved in translational research to improve patient outcomes.
