Dr. Aaron T. Fafarman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Drexel University's College of Engineering. He holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Stanford University (2010), a BS in Chemistry from UC Berkeley (2000), and completed postdoctoral work in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania (2010-2013).
His research focuses on advanced materials for energy applications, including:
- Photovoltaic energy conversion
- Solution-processed semiconductor thin films
- Colloidal nanocrystal synthesis and assembly
- Spectroscopic characterization of nanomaterials
