Aaron Sidford is an Associate Professor at Stanford University, affiliated with both the Department of Management Science and Engineering and the Department of Computer Science. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was advised by Jonathan Kelner.
His research focuses on the design and analysis of algorithms, optimization theory, and the theory of computation, particularly at the intersection of continuous optimization, graph theory, numerical linear algebra, and data structures. His work has been recognized with prestigious awards including the Microsoft Research Faculty Fellowship, Sloan Research Fellowship, and NSF CAREER Award.
