Aaron Sachs is a Professor in the History Department and American Studies Program at Cornell University, with a focus on Environmental History, American Cultural History, and Interdisciplinary Approaches. His work bridges Historical Geography, Creative Nonfiction, and Intellectual History.
His recent publications explore climate change, environmental justice, and urban ecology through lenses like 19th-Century Landscape Traditions, Melville’s Environmental Relevance, and Dark Comedy as Climate Communication.
