Aaron S. Kemp

Aaron S. Kemp is a Lecturer and Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in the Department of Biomedical Informatics and the Division of Child Health Biomedical Informatics at Arkansas Children’s Research Institute (ACRI). His research over the past 25 years has focused on exploring the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive impairments in neurodevelopmental, neuropsychiatric, and neurodegenerative disorders.

• Research Methods: Multi-modal neuroimaging (EEG, MEG, PET, fMRI) and brain stimulation (rTMS).
• Computational Expertise: Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), and High-Performance Computing (HPC).
• Objective: Developing neuroinformatic analysis pipelines to identify brain-based biomarkers for functional impairment and intervention efficacy in cognitive processes.
