Aaron Lauve is an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Loyola University Chicago. He holds a B.S. from the University of Oklahoma and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University. Prior to Loyola, he held postdoctoral positions at the University of Quebec at Montreal and Texas A&M University, and taught at McGill University. His research focuses on algebra and combinatorics, particularly their intersections in areas like combinatorial representation theory and Hopf algebras. Supported by the National Security Agency, his work appears in journals such as International Mathematics Research Notices, Journal of Algebra, and SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics. He is known for collaborative research, having worked with 15 co-authors. His office is located in BVM Hall 501.
