Aaron Griffith is an Assistant Professor of American Church History at Duke Divinity School, specializing in the intersection of American religion, politics, and criminal justice. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Wheaton College, M.Div. and Th.D. from Duke Divinity School. His research explores evangelicalism’s influence on American law-and-order policies and mass incarceration, highlighted by his award-winning 2020 book God’s Law and Order.
