Aaron David Greenblatt, MD is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Family & Community Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He serves as Medical Director of the UMMC Addiction Treatment Programs and Director of the University of Maryland Addiction Medicine Fellowship. His clinical work focuses on integrating primary care, psychiatry, and infectious disease treatment for individuals with substance use disorders through the Health and Recovery Clinic (HARP).
Dr. Greenblatt completed his BA at Yale University, MD at University of Pennsylvania, and residency/fellowship training at UCSF and University of Maryland. His research emphasizes telemedicine innovations for opioid use disorder treatment, racial disparities in addiction pathways, and policy reforms for opioid treatment programs. He directs the Addiction Medicine Fellowship program and teaches medical students/residents in both family medicine and addiction specialties.
