Aapo Stenhammar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Bonn, affiliated with the Institute for Applied Microeconomics. He is also a Research Fellow at the Labour Institute for Economic Research LABORE in Helsinki, Finland. His research focuses on labor markets, public policy, political economy, and economic history, utilizing machine learning for digitizing archival documents and analyzing text/image data. He holds a PhD from Aalto University and Helsinki GSE, with visiting scholar experiences at UC Berkeley and Stockholm University's IIES.
