Aamena A. Zayed is a Master's student in the World Literatures and Cultures program at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, concurrently serving as an Instructor of English as a Foreign Language at the Center for Foreign Languages and Translations, Sheikh Zayed Campus.
Her academic foundation includes a BA in English Language and Literature from Cairo University's Faculty of Arts. Key professional engagements encompass participation in the Between The Lines International Writing Program at IOWA University (2016), the Arab-German Young Academy symposium on populism in Leipzig (2016), and Cairo University's Twelfth International Symposium on Comparative Literature (2014) focusing on resistance narratives.
Her research synthesizes literary theory with sociopolitical analysis, emphasizing cross-cultural dialogue through multilingual frameworks. She actively explores postcolonial identity formation, linguistic hybridity in globalized contexts, and experimental literary forms that challenge traditional genre boundaries.
