Aafiyah Shaikh is a Tutor and PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh, affiliated with the Department of Politics and International Relations. Her research investigates resource extraction in Alberta, Canada, focusing on Indigenous rights, settler colonialism, and environmental policy critiques.
