Ayşe Gülbın Kavak is an Assistant Professor at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medical Sciences. She has taught courses including Radiotherapy Physics, Scientific Research and Ethics, and Specialized Field Courses. Her work bridges medical physics, radiation oncology, and clinical applications.

Research focuses on medical physics, particularly ionizing radiation effects, radiotherapy techniques (IMRT, VMAT), dosimetry, and quality control. Her work integrates imaging technologies like PET with biological markers for personalized therapy.
Her publications highlight trends in radiotherapy innovation, including biology-guided treatments, CT applications, and dosimetry improvements. She has authored chapters in international scientific books and presented at global conferences.
She supervised the thesis "Study of natural and doped boron minerals using thermoluminescence (TL) method for dosimeter development" and has served as Deputy Director of a Research and Application Center. Her teaching spans 2013–2023, covering radiotherapy physics and seminars.
