معرفی
AOKI Atsushi is a Professor at Nagoya Institute of Technology in the Department of Life and Applied Chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Tohoku University (1992). His research spans nanomaterials, polymer chemistry, and organic electronics, with a focus on electrochromic devices, organic solar cells, and hydrogen energy conversion.
Research interests include:
- Design of electrochromic materials for smart windows
- Organic photovoltaics for hydrogen production
- Light-emitting electrochemical cells using metal complexes
- Nanofabrication via Langmuir-Blodgett films
His publications (2010–2023) emphasize optoelectronic materials and renewable energy applications, particularly organic solar cells for water electrolysis and electrochromic device engineering.
Awards:
- PRiME2024 Student Registration Support (Electrochemical Society Chromogenic Research Committee, 2024)
Grants & Projects: Principal Investigator for JSPS Grant-in-Aid (2013–2016) on electrochemiluminescent transistors. Current collaborative research on Ag nanowire-liquid crystal composites (2024–2025).
Committees: Visiting Professor at University of Toyama Hydrogen Isotope Research Center; board member for multiple societies including the Electrochemical Society and Society of Polymer Science Japan.
