ANGEL BALLESTEROS CASTAÑEDA

Dr. Angel Ballesteros Castañeda is a Professor (Catedrático de Universidad) at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, University of Burgos (UBU). He is affiliated with the FISMAT-UBU Mathematical Physics research group and contributes to the Química Avanzada and Ingeniería y Tecnologías Industrial, Informática y Civil PhD programs. His research focuses on mathematical physics, particularly quantum deformations and kinematic symmetries.

Education:

• PhD in Physics (1995) from Universidad de Valladolid with thesis: 'Contracción de biálgebras de Lie y deformaciones cuánticas de simetrías cinemáticas'

Research & Collaboration:
Actively involved in mathematical physics research through the FISMAT-UBU group (UIC 377) and interdisciplinary collaborations. His work bridges theoretical physics and applied mathematics.
