ANDRES AUGUSTO NOGUEIRAS MELENDEZ

Andres Augusto Nogueiras Melendez serves as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Technology at the School of Industrial Engineering, University of Vigo, where he is affiliated with the Electronic Equipment Engineering (EEE) research group.

His academic credentials include:

• PhD in Electronic Technology from University of Vigo (2003), thesis: New methodology of modeling and non-linear simulation. Application to high performance continuous/continuous parallel pwm converters, supervised by Dr. Alfonso Lago Ferreiro

Research focuses on power electronics systems with specialized expertise in non-linear modeling methodologies and high-performance PWM converter design. His work bridges theoretical simulation techniques with practical electronic equipment engineering applications, particularly in converter optimization for industrial systems.

As an active member of the EEE research group, he contributes to the Electronic Technology area within the School of Industrial Engineering at Vigo campus, maintaining primary contact via university email infrastructure.
