ALFONSO VAZQUEZ RAMALLO

Alfonso Vazquez Ramallo is a Professor at the Department of Particle Physics, Faculty of Physics, University of Santiago de Compostela. He is affiliated with the Galician Institute of High Energy Physics (IGFAE) and leads research in the TEOFPACC group focused on the Theory and Phenomenology of Particles, Astroparticles, Fields and Strings.

Education:

• PhD in Theoretical Physics (1982) from the University of Santiago de Compostela, with the thesis Anomalous shadow effects in hadron-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions, supervised by Dr. Carlos Pajares Vales.

His research spans Theoretical Physics, Particle Physics, Field Theory, and String Theory, with a focus on high-energy physics phenomena and astroparticle interactions.
