ALBERTO JOSE BARREIRA ARIAS is a part-time Associate Professor affiliated with the Faculty of Education and Social Work at the University of Santiago de Compostela, working within the Didactics, school organization and research methods department. His academic focus spans educational psychology, school counseling, and teacher training.
As a Doctor from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2003), his thesis analyzed professional competences of school counselors, advised by Dr. Luis Martín Sobrado Fernández and Dr. Camilo Isaac Ocampo Gómez. He is based at the Ourense Campus.
