AHMET MENTEŞE

AHMET MENTEŞE is a Professor at Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biochemistry since 2020. He transitioned through academic roles from Lecturer (2010-2011) to Assistant Professor (2011-2014), Associate Professor (2014-2020), and Professor (2020-present). Previously, he served as a Research Assistant at Giresun University (2004-2010) and Karadeniz Technical University (2003-2004).

His work investigates mechanisms like Nrf2 pathway activation, inflammation suppression, and apoptosis regulation.

Recent publications (2023-2025) highlight his expertise in testicular and ovarian toxicity, chemopreventive agents, and ischemia-reperfusion injury. Key collaborations include researchers like S. Demir and N. Alemdar, with studies published in journals such as BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies and Reproductive Toxicology.
