A. Ant Ozok

Dr. A. Ant Ozok is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). His research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), usability testing, and applications in e-commerce, mobile computing, healthcare, and online communities. He has authored numerous publications in top-tier journals and conferences, including Behaviour & Information Technology and International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction. Ozok has secured grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Erickson Retirement Communities, and TEDCO, supporting projects like technology perceptions in middle school students and medication adherence among the elderly. He serves on editorial boards for journals such as the International Journal of Electronic Finance and Electronic Government. Ozok’s teaching spans courses like Electronic Commerce and Legal Aspects of Information Systems, reflecting his expertise in both technical and ethical dimensions of information systems.

Education: Ozok earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Istanbul.
