Štefan Balla is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Education, University of J. Selye (UJS) in Komárno, Slovakia. His academic career includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Konštantín Filozof in Nitra (2000–2023) and a temporary position in regional governance (2023–2024). He holds a PhD in General Biology (2001) and a rigorose exam in Biology and Ecology (2000).
- Research Focus: Biology, Anthropology, Physiology, with emphasis on health education, nutritional science, and environmental education.
- Grants: Involved in projects like DigiThink (ERASMUS+), Innovatív oktatási anyagok (KEGA), and others focusing on education and health.
