İSMAİL ALTIN

İSMAİL ALTIN serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the Faculty of Marine Sciences, Karadeniz Technical University. Previously, he held a Lecturer position at Trabzon Vocational School from 2003 to 2011.

His academic credentials include a BSc (1999), MSc (2004), and PhD (2011) in Mechanical Engineering, all earned at Karadeniz Technical University.

Research focuses on thermodynamic modeling, internal combustion engines, and fuels and combustion, with significant contributions to Marine Engineering, Conventional Energy Systems, and Thermodynamics. His work bridges theoretical principles with practical applications in marine machinery and energy efficiency.

He has supervised 9 theses and maintains active membership in the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers.
